Bilbao City Hall has published a call for tenders for refurbishment of the Edificio Papelera to house the Kunsthal centre

Bilbao City Hallhas called for tenders for the contract to undertake the interior and exterior refurbishment of the Edificio Papelera in order to house the Kunsthal higher education design centre. The tender budget stands at €1,432,191.56 (ex. VAT) and the works should be completed within a term of 5 months. The deadline for submitting proposals is 13.00 hours on 11 March 2019.

Kunsthal,founded in Irún in 1998, is a centre dedicated to training new professionals in the specialisms of Graphic Advertising (graphic design), Projects and Works Management (interior design) and Landscaping-Garden Design. It is the only private centre in Euskadi awarding higher education qualifications in these specialisms.

For the 2019-20 academic year, the Kunsthal centre in Bilbao will be offering its higher education qualifications in Design (Graphic and Interior), which are equivalent to university undergraduate degrees.
