Joining of the Enekuri tunnels with calle Ballets Olaeta completed

Within the urbanisation works on calle Ballets Olaeta street, which have been ongoing since last summer and will conclude this June, today the entrance from the Enekuri tunnels to Bilbao has been connected with calle Ballets Olaeta.

This connection eliminates the sharp bend from calle Morgan to calle Ballets Olaeta street, which is going to improve traffic in the area, making it more fluid and also converting calle Morgan into a one-way street, outbound only.

The next component to be undertaken within these works, which have an implementation budget of a little over €1.5 million, will be the widening of the footpaths on calle Morgan in order to facilitate pedestrian transit along this street.
