The former Papelera del Nervión building is one of 17 industrial buildings that are to be maintained under the Special Plan. It is the only domed building on Zorrotzaurre and one of the few that exist in the province of Bizkaia. The renovation works, contracted by Bilbao Ekintza have been financed by the Basque Government under its Creation Factories policy.
